Tualatin School House Pantry (TSHP) is a community organized food bank that includes local churches, businesses, social and civic organizations, individuals and the City of Tualatin.

The mission of Tualatin Schoolhouse Pantry is to provide emergency food to qualified households in a welcoming environment. As a part of the Oregon Food Bank, we also share in their mission to eliminate hunger and its root causes because we believe that no one should go hungry. We operate with a volunteer staff that is dedicated to serving others.
Tualatin School House Pantry serves residents of Tualatin, Durham, Lake Oswego and West Linn. No appointment is necessary but we ask that clients bring identification or other method of address verification when visiting our pantry. TSHP provides emergency food boxes with up to 5 days worth of food and personal supplies, one time per month.
Tualatin School House Pantry is located on the lower level of Rolling Hills Community Church. You will find us at 3550 SW Borland Road, Tualatin. Our phone number is 503 783-0721
Food donations can be brought to our pantry during normal business hours.
TSHP Current Needs
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Canned goods such as tuna, fruit, corn, and hearty soups with protein
- Cereal (hot or cold)
- Dried beans
- Cooking oil and sugar
- Hygiene items such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, laundry soap

A local Girl Scout is producing a community cookbook for Tualatin School House Pantry.

Goal:
- Creating a Tualatin Community Cookbook for the Tualatin School House Pantry
- Recipes are simple with common ingredients
- Submissions can be in English or Spanish
- For Tualatin residents by Tualatin residents
Submissions:
- Submissions by Tualatin residents
- Recipes will be accepted between September 1 and February 28, 2010
- Recipe categories include appetizers, salads, main dishes, vegetable/side dishes, desserts, & other
- Recipe submissions will be available online at schoolhousepantry.com or on paper at the Tualatin School House Pantry, Chamber of Commerce, the Library, and other public places
- All recipes will be tested for accuracy and taste
- Recipe submission does not guarantee recipe will be included in the cookbook
- Individuals or families may submit more than one recipe
Volunteers:
- We are looking for volunteers to test recipes and/or translate them into Spanish

Hero of the Month
10 Tons of Food!
It was the biggest food drive in the history of Tualatin School House Pantry! A huge thank you to the Tualatin High School ASB - they are the latest pantry heroes. In a month long food drive they collected over 20,000 pounds of non-perishable food for the pantry. This was supplemented by lots of financial contributions. Let's all give a big cheer for these outstanding local citizens!
