-
We provide emergency food to people living in the Tualatin
and Durham area
-
If you live outside of our service area you can contact
the Oregon Food Bank for information on the emergency food services in
your area
-
No appointments are necessary
-
You can receive an emergency food box no more than once in
each calendar month
-
You will be asked for identification including
verification of your address in our service area
-
We will ask you some other basic question including: the
number of adults and children in your family, information about special
dietary needs
-
We will ask you questions about your household income and
government assistance programs to determine if your family is eligible
for USDA food items.
-
We will ask you to sign your name each time you receive
emergency food from the pantry indicating that you have read the
information concerning USDA guidelines. This also serves as a
receipt that you have picked up a food box during the current month
-
Tualatin School House Pantry operates similar to a
neighborhood grocery store with two differences. There is no
charge for the food that you receive and you get a personal shopping
assistant. Our shopping assistant will help you select food the
food that your family wants. The amount of food that you receive
is based on our standard allocations for a family your size as well as
the current available supply of food
-
When ever possible we try to have volunteers available to
help you take your food to your car
-
We hope that you enjoy your shopping experience at
